Join us for a brand new writing retreat in collaboration with author and teacher Julia Skinner focused on fermentation as a teacher for transformation. The art & craft of fermentation contains valuable lessons for writers: about letting things take their own time, connecting to place, and trusting the process. At this four night retreat, you’ll receive in-depth fermentation instruction, daily creative prompts, and lots of unstructured time to draw, write, or spend time in nature as we allow our craft in the kitchen to spill out into the rest of our lives in creativity, connection, and play.

We'll use these guiding principles to support us in strengthening our craft as writers, as we gather together at Common Knowledge in County Clare. Expect time in nature, rest/reflection, and creative practice, as well as wholesome meals and special guests. Writers will come away with a renewed sense of wonder, feeling a bit rested, and having nourished our inner creative ecosystems so we can continue to practice our writing magic in our daily lives.
